Korcia performs in varying configurations with the European Chamber Orchestra Lochen under the baton of Michael Wendeberg, as well as with a quintet, with piano and with accordion and double bass.

Music has been central to films from their earliest days and has been used to underline mood, or stoke or suppress excitement. Later, film companies saw that they could make more money by releasing recordings of the music, some of which became popular and even developed a life of its own outside the films.

Vaughan Williams's film music ranks as some of the very finest ever written, and this CD set contains excellent examples, many which prior to the original release had never been recorded before, including extended suites of Scott of the Antarctic, 49th Parallel and The England of Elizabeth.
