About the conductor Franz Welser-Most

Welser-Möst made his debut at the Salzburg Festival in 1985 and, further to his London Philharmonic debut in 1986, was the orchestra's Music Director from 1990-1996. He works with the Vienna Philharmonic, the Berlin Philharmonic, the Bavarian Radio Symphony and Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra and has conducted all the major U.S. orchestras.
