About the artist Filippo Adami

Born in Fiesole, Filippo Adami graduated with distinction in 1980 at the Florence Cherubini Conservatorio. As a specialist in Rossini he has undertaken leading rôles in a wide Rossinian repertoire. His early music repertoire includes Monteverdi’s L’incoronazione di Poppea, Scarlatti’s oratorio Il giardino delle rose, Handel’s Fernando, Rodelinda and Il trionfo del tempo e del disinganno, Cavalli’s Il Giasone, Galuppi’s L’Olimpiade and L’inimico delle donne, and Vivaldi’s Ercole sul Termodonte, the last performed in Kraków, Vienna and Paris, under Fabio Bondi.
