Background: His Télémaque in 'Return of Ulysse' of Monteverdi conducted by William Christie at Aix-en-Provence in 2001, was a true revelation for Cyril Auvity. He discovered the baroque repertoire, his own tenor voice leading him to counter-tenor and the French music of the 'Grand Siècle'. Always attracted to French music, he founded in 2003 his group : Yriade with whom he prepared this project of French cantatas related to Orfeo. |
