Background: When perfected in 1811 by the French piano maker Sebastian Erard, the modern harp found a new audience. Particular pieces were composed by contemporary composers who discovered the instruments potential. There was also a plethora of arrangements from the baroque repertoire. Suzanna Klintcharova has performed in Europe, Asia and the USA. She is a laureate of international harp contests and has had many contemporary compositions written for and dedicated to her.
