Background: Since winning the First Prize in the Queen Elizabeth Competetion 2001, Baiba Skride has worked with such conductors as Paavo Berglund, Herbert Blomstedt, Charles Dutoit, Paavo Jarvi, Lorin Maazel, and John Storgards. She made her Salzburg Festival debut in 2004. This is her debut release.
