Background: A glorious celebration of modern Swedish organ music, recorded with the benefits of SACD. Erik Lundkvist here performs on the magnificent organ of Stockholm Concert Hall. When one thinks of Sweden and Scandinavia's substantial contribution to the classical tradition, organ music is not often the genre that comes to mind. However a number of composers raised organ music from discreet background mood music to new levels of accomplishment, amongs them Fryklof and Olsson.

Many of them had studied abroad and brought new influences to their essentially Swedish style.
