Background: As cellist of one of the most famous Czech string quartets, the Prázak Quartet, Michal Kanka has performed in leading venues round the world, thus pursuing a dual career as soloist and chamber musician. He plays an instrument made in 1710 by Giovanni Grancino of Milan. Jaromír Klepác studied at the Prague Music Academy with Professor Pavel Štepán. In 1994 he founded the Rejcha Trio. His concert appearances have taken him throughout Europe and America both as soloist and chamber musician. |
