Background: Gregory Yurisich pays tribute to fellow Australian bass-baritone Peter Dawson, the Pavarotti of his time, with this affectionate recital of songs he made famous. 'Old Father Thames', 'On the Road to Mandalay', and other such cheerfully melodic, humorously patriotic and sentimental ballads are performed with gusto and terrific orchestral backing.
