It covers the years 1962 - 1982, and encompasses three vital conductors in the Orchestra's history: Sir John Pritchard, who introduced the Orchestra to opera and who conducted its first Glyndebourne performances in 1964; Bernard Haitink presiding over some of the Orchestra's most exciting years and Georg Solti, whose impact on the podium in the 20th century is unsurpassed.
