Background: This is the performance through which one can hear why Lina Bruna Rasa was the composer’s favorite Santuzza - fiery, overwhelmingly dramatic, her singing won’t soon be forgotten. Equally impressive is the conducting of the composer - vital, propulsive, rich with atmosphere.
