Background: Woven Images includes three works which are all musical impressions of images. The first selection, Without Borders, is a new composition by Allen Krantz that is based on rugs. The second and third selections, Harold Triggs's Six Surrealist Afterludes and the famous Pictures at an Exhibition (piano version) by Moussorgsky, are based on paintings. The program is brilliantly performed by Clipper Erickson.
