Background: This recording takes us on a journey through the music that organists at the Cathedral of Barcelona left us when they worked there during the 18th century. The organ dates from 1539 and was built by Peter the Fleming. It was rebuilt in 1700 by Josep Bosca and it is this magnificent instrument we hear on this recording of ‘versets’ by Salo, Mariner, Baguer and Ferrer.
