Background: Dame Myra Hess was a pianist with a commanding yet unobtrusive technique who specialised in Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann and Brahms. The Beethoven Piano Concerto No.4 and the Mozart Concerto No.23 both with Boult have been sourced from an outside collector and never commercially recorded.
