Background: Mozart Camargo Guarnieri is universally recognised as the most important Brazilian composer after Villa-Lobos. The Six Piano Concertos, composed over a period of forty years, are vibrant, exciting works notable for their dazzling sonorities and, at times, astonishingly beautiful lyrical themes.
