Background: During her short lifetime Maud Powell, America's first great master of the violin, transformed the art of violin-playing, set a new standard for musicianship and was pivotal in the development of classical music in North America.

She was the first violin soloist to record for the Victor Company and the first violinist to record a concerto movement. This final volume in the Naxos Maud Powell series includes the previously unpublished Adoration by Borowski, taken from an extremely rare test pressing.
