Background: Several years on from his immensely popular debut recording of Beethoven's Diabelli Variations, Piotr Anderszewski returns on disc to Beethoven with one of his earlier works, Piano Concerto No.1, in which he directs the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie from the keyboard.

The concerto is coupled with Six Bagatelles op.126, which were amongst Beethoven's last works composed for the piano, contemporaries of the Ninth Symphony and the Diabelli Variations.
