Background: In writing his Concierto de Aranjuez blind Spanish composer Joaquin Rodrigo created one of the cornerstones of the guitar repertory, and what has easily become the most popular concerto ever composed for the instrument. Virtuoso guitarist Pepe Romero recorded the work twice for Philips and his second recording is the one which is included here on film with the fascinating documentary about Rodrigo at 90, Shadows and Light.
