Background: The Warsaw Concerto is a flamboyant Romantic piano concerto movement in the style of Rachmaninov or Liszt, composed as a film score for 'Dangerous Moonlight', a wartime movie released in 1941. Cèsar Franck's Symphonic Variations for piano and orchestra is among his best-known and loved works. One of the most popular of all piano concertos, Grieg's A minor Concerto was written when the composer was only 25-years old.
