Background: A major contribution to 'Handel Year', countertenor star Andreas Scholl returns to the Decca label in Handel's comedy Partenope. Scholl sings the role of Arsace which was sung by the castrato Antonio Maria Bernacchi at the London premier of Partenope in 1730, at the King's Theatre, Haymarket London.
